Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and Andri Nutrition. They explain what the app is, what you can expect from it, and what we expect from you. Please read them, and in particular the health disclaimer below.
Andri Nutrition ("Andri", "we", "us") is a nutrition app operated by an independent developer. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Andri. Questions: contact@andrinutrition.app.
1. Health and nutrition disclaimer
Andri reads how your body recovered (sleep, heart-rate variability, activity, and energy) and suggests what to eat, when, and how much. All of this is general information for healthy adults, not personalised medical advice.
- Not medical advice. Andri does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in the app should be taken as medical or clinical advice.
- Consult a professional. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before making dietary changes, and especially if you have or suspect a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, take medication, have a history of disordered eating, or are managing diabetes, heart, kidney, or other health conditions. Andri is not designed for these situations.
- Estimates, not facts. Calorie and macronutrient targets, biometric readings, and meal suggestions are estimates generated from device data and AI models. They can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment, and stop and seek advice if something does not feel right for your body.
- Emergencies. Andri is not for emergencies. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number immediately.
- Disordered eating. Calorie- and weight-tracking is not appropriate for everyone. If you have or are recovering from an eating disorder, please speak to a professional before using Andri.
- Allergies, intolerances, and foods you avoid. You can tell Andri which foods to leave out, whether that is an allergy, an intolerance, or simply something you would rather not eat. Andri passes that list to the AI that writes your meal plans, and it may flag food you log when it appears to contain something on your list. Neither is a safety check, and neither makes any meal safe for you. Meal plans and recipes are AI-generated and can contain mistakes or unnamed ingredients. Flags on food you photograph or describe are guesses made from an image or a few words: they cannot see cooking oils, sauces, traces, substitutions, or cross-contamination, and the absence of a flag never means a food is free of anything. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, you remain solely responsible for what you eat. Check labels and ingredients yourself, ask whoever prepared the food, and follow the advice of your doctor or allergy specialist. Do not rely on Andri to keep an allergen out of your food.
You use Andri's information and suggestions at your own discretion and risk.
2. Who can use Andri
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Andri, and at least old enough to give valid consent to process personal data in your country. Andri is not intended for children. You confirm the information you give us (such as your date of birth, height, and weight) is accurate, and you are responsible for keeping it up to date.
3. Your account
- Andri requires an account, created with Sign in with Apple when you first open the app. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure, and for activity that happens under your account.
- One account per person. Do not share your account or impersonate anyone else.
- You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Andri for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could harm the service or other people;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or bulk-download data from the app or its APIs, except where the law expressly permits it;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass its rate limits and security;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or its content without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
5. AI-generated content
Andri's meal plans, recipes, and readiness reads are generated with the help of AI (including the Anthropic Claude API). AI output can be wrong, biased, or inconsistent, and Andri does not guarantee it is accurate, complete, suitable for you, or free of errors. Treat suggestions as a starting point, not instructions, and apply your own common sense.
6. Health data and third parties
With your permission, Andri reads data from Apple Health (HealthKit) and connected services to size your targets and show progress. What we collect, why, and who processes it is set out in the Privacy Policy. Health data read from Apple Health is used only to provide the app's features, and is never used for advertising or sold. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Subscription, billing and cancellation
Andri is free to download and requires a subscription to use, with a free trial offered when you sign up. The trial's length is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Without an active subscription or trial, Andri becomes read-only: everything you have already logged remains readable and exportable, and nothing is deleted, but new meal plans, AI estimates and new entries are not available until you subscribe again.
Price and period
Andri Nutrition is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, on a monthly or annual plan. The exact price, billing period, and any free-trial length are shown in the app on the purchase screen before you confirm, in your local currency. Prices vary by country and may change over time, which is why they are shown at the point of purchase rather than stated here.
How you are billed
Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. We never receive or store your card or payment details.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel it. Apple charges the renewal to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the current period ends. If you started with a free trial, the trial converts to a paid subscription on the same basis unless you cancel before it ends; cancelling during the trial means you are not charged.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the app, at You → Manage my subscription, which opens Apple's subscription settings; or in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or through the App Store. Apple confirms the cancellation by email. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly, though you are welcome to contact us and we will help where we can.
If you are in the UK, Apple's terms also give you the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of receiving your receipt, without giving a reason, through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple applies this to the first subscription purchase, not to each automatic renewal. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these Terms.
Changes to the subscription
If we change the price or what a subscription includes, we will tell you in advance. A price increase does not take effect for an existing subscriber without notice and, where Apple requires it, your explicit agreement. Otherwise the subscription simply does not renew.
8. Intellectual property
The Andri Nutrition app, its name, design, and content (other than your own data) belong to us and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own, non-commercial use under these Terms. Your data remains yours; you grant us the limited permission needed to store and process it to run the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Andri is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result, target, or suggestion will meet your needs or health goals. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andri and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or GBP 50.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the app or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using Andri and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as the disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Andri after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence gives you additional rights or a different forum.
15. Contact
